Has the patient had an adequate response?

Adequate responses include:
  • Improved oxygenation
  • Decreasing FiO2 needs (≤ 90%) and ability to wean FiO2
  • Hemodynamic improvement
  • Improving plateau and driving pressure
  • Reduced lactic acidosis
