Left ventricle (LV) parameters
  • No significant LV dilation;
  • Left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) > 20-25%;
  • Left ventricular outflow tract velocity time integral (LVOT VTI) >10 cm;
  • TDSa (lateral mitral annulus peak systolic velocity) ≥ 6cm/s;
  • Improvement in lateral mitral annulus e’ velocity.
Right ventricle (RV) parameters
  • No RV dilation with reduction in Left Ventricular End-Diastolic Volume (LVEDV);
  • Recruitment of RV systolic function to normal or mild RV dysfunction;
  • Fractional area change (FAC) ≥ 35%;
  • Tricuspid Annular Plane Systolic Excursion (TAPSE) >10 mm;
  • No worsening of tricuspid regurgitation;
  • Improvement in RVOT VTI;
  • Improvement in RV S’ > 10%.
