Left ventricle (LV) parameters
- No significant LV dilation;
- Left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) > 20-25%;
- Left ventricular outflow tract velocity time integral (LVOT VTI) >10 cm;
- TDSa (lateral mitral annulus peak systolic velocity) ≥ 6cm/s;
- Improvement in lateral mitral annulus e’ velocity.
Right ventricle (RV) parameters
- No RV dilation with reduction in Left Ventricular End-Diastolic Volume (LVEDV);
- Recruitment of RV systolic function to normal or mild RV dysfunction;
- Fractional area change (FAC) ≥ 35%;
- Tricuspid Annular Plane Systolic Excursion (TAPSE) >10 mm;
- No worsening of tricuspid regurgitation;
- Improvement in RVOT VTI;
- Improvement in RV S’ > 10%.
