Major circuit breakage or disconnection involving the pumphead or Membrane Lung (ML) tubing or connectors
A.
Prepare for emergent cannulation to completely replace cannulas.
B.
If the displaced cannula is partially left in-site, consider the feasibility of re-insertion or the insertion of guidewire through the cannula.
C.
Flush the cannula still in place to avoid thrombosis.
