Midazolam:
Intravenous antiseizure agent
ECMO Dose Adjustment:

Adult Dose^:
Loading Dose: 0.2 mg/kg IV over 2–5 min. Repeat 0.2 mg/kg IV boluses every 5 min until seizures stop, up to a maximum loading dose of 2 mg/kg.
Maintenance Infusion: 0.2 mg/kg/hr, titrated to seizure control
Pediatric Dose^:
Loading Dose: 0.2 mg/kg (maximum 10 mg) IV x 1
Maintenance Infusion: 0.1–0.2 mg/kg/hr, titrated to seizure control
Neonatal Dose^:
Loading Dose: 0.2 mg/kg IV x 1
Maintenance Infusion: 0.15 mg/kg/hr, titrated to seizure control
