Adult Dose^:
Loading Dose: 4 mg IV or 0.1 mg/kg IV x 1 (max of 4 mg), may repeat. Consider midazolam infusion if refractory seizures occur.
Pediatric Starting Dose^:
Loading Dose: 0.1 mg/kg (maximum 4 mg) IV x 1. May repeat dose once in 5–10 minutes. Consider midazolam infusion if refractory seizures occur.
Neonatal Starting Dose^:
Loading Dose: 0.05–0.1 mg/kg/dose administered by slow IV over 1 to 5 minutes. Consider midazolam infusion if refractory seizures occur.
