Adult Dose:

500 mg IV every 24 hours

Pediatric Dose:

10 mg/kg/dose (maximum 500 mg) IV every 24 hours for 1–2 doses, followed by 5 mg/kg/dose (maximum 250 mg) IV every 24 hours to complete a 5-day course

Neonatal Dose:

pertussis: 10 mg/kg/dose IV every 24 hours
